Threshold was founded in Manchester in 2018 by joiner Steve Booth, whose brother has been visually impaired since birth. Steve challenged himself to find a way to include people with visual impairments in his trade meaningfully, and with RNIB support developed a survey and measurement role that his brother now performs.
